Oxy Bath.
Retrodan72:
What's involved, and how do you do it?
Any advice guys? ???

You can buy small tubs on Ebay and you'll need an old baby bath or a builders/plasterers mixing bath, or maybe even a paddling pool will do. You'll have to experiment with mix ratios, start weak and add more oxy as required. once you have it right, a 12 hour soak should be enough to shift the rust. Then just rinse and polish :daumenhoch:

I use a wheelie bin. Half a bottle of oxy crystals. Leave for about 12 hours. Dont leave in too long if the chrome is thin. :daumenhoch:

fill up some big bottle with water a place then in the tub - this will lower the volume of water and mix, so you can use less mix and still fill the tub ;)
