Did it! ( a sorry all, just got an iPad and  am still learning!
Looks similar frame to johns earlier pic apart from his seems to have a looptail or is it my eyesight!
Still new to everything but I understand that mine isn't really a true Mongoose  as they were made under licence by ammaco. Am I correct here? Bike hasn't arrived yet so just going on this picture. Ant help much appreciated! Whatever it is I still love it!!!

Jaypeg:
The wire wheel was built by ammaco for mongoose, the also did the Grand Prix ...decals aren't correct but you can get some repop ones on bmx products website . I used the 82-82 mongoose set on mine...

They did a chrome and a painted version. Mongoose grips , 3 arrows chainring, sr 468's , rigida rims ..etc

Low spec but 80's bmx nonetheless  :daumenhoch: I have a few parts if you are interested .

BMX1973:

Many mongoose came with acorn mags. If they are ammaco stamped they are pretty hard to come by.  :)

quote: Does appear to have a lot of original parts apart from a pair of acorn mags
