Browning 2 speed transmission

I think you've polluted my fragile mind........ the more I look at it the more it grows on me. Saying that though, I quite like that set up that uses two chain wheels, two sprockets etc in tandem........ or have I imagined that?

That Hot Heart is lovely it'll be a fun challenge sourcing one with the "boomerang" gusset.
Show me a picture of said set up, i'm not entirely clear on what you're describing..

John De Bruin on museum also has the Browning on his DY, says shifts "like a dream" when set up properly. http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=237153 http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/25/jmcdy01.jpg/ ....all seem to have that Shimano derailleur/tensioner. THink it's called RD-MX 56
