Nowt wrong with sending PM's with questions about items, but I think you should only post in the thread if you're actually buying. Saves any confusion.

If someone saw an item you really wanted & claimed it for you in the thread I would think you would be rather pleased...or is that different...?!

Not exactly sure what you mean, but no its not different for me. Perhaps let me know that said item is available, so that I can go and buy it myself (if I still require it). If its gone by the time I get there, then I might be disappointed, but that's how it goes sometimes. Its only bike bits after all.

I go down the route of having a haggle on PM,  Then dib dobs if the seller agrees.  That way then the seller has the opportunity to get there full price if someone will pay it.
My max price is not the same as some one else I want the seller to get to Mullah they want if someone gets it while I PM then so be it good for the buyer and seller.

dib dobs is a commitment to buy at the agreed price not to go and have a haggle after  :police:

dancetothedrummersbeat:
I think you should ask any questions BEFORE calling dib dobs on an item. That way you and the seller should have sorted out any questions before the item is officially sold. If someone calls dib dobs on an item, it should be final in my opinion - they are agreeing to buy the item based on the photos and/or sellers description. Just my opinion.

Isn't it then the sellers responsibility to describe accurately and post clear photos?
We know some people are just fookin lazy and post shit photos, they then get bombarded with questions when a few minutes waiting for photobucket to play will negate the need for 'dib dobs pending question' situations.

Just a thought.

NB: No malice was intended with this comment and all people mentioned were fictional.

Don't want to start another shitty slanging thread "nono"
