Mongoose decade 87 chainwheel

Hi need a bit of advice/info please, Im putting together a 87 Mongoose Decade and have picked up the generic mongoose spider and chainwheel for it but im not sure if its correct, does any of you Rad peeps out there know what the chainwheel is made from, alloy or steel... if its steel them ok if it alloy then ill fit a sugino spider ad chainwheel. bit of a odd question i know but anybody can shed some light on this i would be most greatful i know...Cheers
