Ok so today i got my T/A & lovely it is too, it's a bit too far gone for me to keep original , theres a lot of rust to the rear drop outs & I'm going to tidy her up i think but i have a question about the decals.



I thought only TA XL's  actually had a main tube decal that sad Skyway T/A ?  & the normal TA just said Skyway ??? Very confusing this is apparently an 84 difficult to see the stamp through the paint.

Anyone know what would be the correct decal ?  Ive put the normal Skyway decal on my chrome one which is also an 84  (it came with decals removed to so didn't have a reference point for that one:

I think but don't know if I'm right, the decals Changed in 84 , most 84s have TA at the end, befor 84 no TA. :daumenhoch:

Cheers buddy, I'm really not sure tbh also theres a different seat post tube decal which i think is correct for the 83-884 bikes.

Its not the one that says all chro moly tubes that you seem to get with all of the sticker kits but a black one line this

Should say Skyway TA with "Extra long" written in white in the bottom of the two red lines after TA

Shame to strip that. An OA bath would sort the rust and then build it as a survivor  :(
