I think Red would go well on this to match the decals.

Absolutely no difference at all in terms of the frame set - just the components. 83 had v bars, tech 2's, OGK mach grips and no fleckies/ Sugino chain guard. I built one a few years back, ignore the massive cable  :LolLolLolLol:

As Tom says, just components.

If your staying with spec the 83 f/f's give you the opportunity to do either version as both v bar and straight bar versions have turned up with 83 stamped frame numbers.
If it's an 84 though it would have only been straight bar.
