A VERY SPECIAL FRAMESET INDEED.

(1/7) > >>

AKGOFF:
I bought this about a month ago from Dom along with a NOS set of decals and a very cool Haro flight bag but only just picked it up from Mick who collected it for me.

This is a proper Gen 1 Haro Freestyler, a very early one too (84th one made to be precise) 1 of only around 12 1982 framesets known to exist. The serial number is a bit odd too, all the freestylers have an F stamped at the end but this one and only 1 other (In Australia) are stamped FS. From memory this frameset is the 5th earliest one recorded so a rare bit of history indeed. Dom bought it from the original owner in New York. The Chrome is in great shape and fork decals are original, not sure on the frame ones though. The Dropouts are pretty damn clean too.
I've been fortunate enough to own a few rare bits and framesets but this one is very special.
All in all I'm a VERY happy boy.
I might also now sell my Anniversary prototype frameset.

I was also lucky enough to pick up a set of these a month or so back so they will get chromed and be put on it.

Thanks Dom and thanks Mick for collecting it for me.  :daumenhoch:
