I also bought a whole bike off eBay once just for the stem,a green tuf neck freestyle stem.
The bike turned out to be a Puch and it had all top bits on it,Tuffs,Skyway Ez mk1 bars,tuf neck power disc ,takagi crank.
Once I split it it meant I got the stem for nowt and over £100 in my pocket  :smiley6600:
