      To me bmx is my life blood.I've always had a bike & have been into bmx since i got hooked in 76' when i moved to the states.I was more of a solitary rider.Though i had some buddies i rode with on occasion & it was cool to test each other's limits & hang out or race,none of those friends were as into it or loved it as much as i did.

My bike was a part of me,i'd ride all day long,for miles checking out tracks,local spots & bike shops & anything along the way that i could jump,ride,hop,etc.

It was also like some secret passport as i'd ride into a town i'd never been to,hit the bike shop,drool over the bikes & other porn i'd love to have in the displays,hanging up & in the catalogs & mags.Then i'd find out the local spots,trails or tracks & meet a bunch of kids i'd never met before & spend the whole day riding,jumping,trying out new stuff.There was an instant respect for each other,checking out each others rides,tricks,styles,skills,etc.I might never see them again or might hook up again next time i was in town.If it was a spot i really liked i'd call up my mum & tell her i was staying at a friends & ride alone all night or at least until the cops chased me out!  :2gunsfiring_v1:

... but knowing i had the best fooking time ever & squeezed that day for all it was worth gave my soul the biggest fooking smile ever...Just me & my bike.  :smitten:

It changed how i looked at everything.To this day all around me,i don't see land,hills,banks,roads,etc.....it's all terrain,transitions or something that looks cool to ride.Even if i'm in a car,on a train i look at everything as though my bike is with me.

No matter if it's street riding,trails,skateparks,racing or catching air off a lip on a driveway or building,stripping,painting,restoring,modifying.........i love it all!

It was how i tested myself,measured my worth,gained self respect but most of all had the best fooking time of my life! :slayer:

I don't care what others say or do,love or hate,build or don't build.
Nothing will sway the fact that i love bmx!

I will fooking die on my bike!

i must admit, i'm mostly just into the looks of the bikes. It's not so much wanting to ride or even to own that awesome Redline or GT, just seeing them gives me a rush, i just adore em, when they got that certain something, and every once in a while one of those bikes comes along here. - I'm determined to learn to do a proper manual though ....omg that sounds so wrong :teef:
