update to my 'orignal Chrome or Re-finish' thread

So I asked recently about whether I should leave a GT frame that I had as original condition even though the original chrome was scratched and dullled or should I paint it.

Anyway I thought I would have a really good go at polishing the chrome before I committed to painting it.

Well after about a week of hard work this is  how it has turned out, I have to say I am very happy and it will stay in its original chrome.

what methods did you try on the chrome then

any of the tin foil and coke one's or just polishing paste

Are you trying to convince yourself , you actually like chrome bikes after all  :D

I'll give it two weeks and you succumb to your fixation of paint   :LolLolLolLol:

I used differently grades of jewellers rouge, one of the best things you can use.
