Retrofit skyway hubs from bitd

(1/3) > >>

animal:
Found this ad last night routing through my stash of mags etc from bitd . This was a flyer from a big show I went 2 in Walsall. At Alumwell School.

These were made in Penkridge Staffs bitd about 8 miles from me  :Great_Britain:  :daumenhoch: I had one of these on my rear black Tuff bitd as mine collapsed like they do .

I have since managed 2 collect a pair , thanks 2 Phil a couple of years back and Ebay. Fitted 2 my restored white Tuffs on my MRD Pro  :Great_Britain:

Jaymz:
Good old british engineering, they look like they've got more longevity in them than og ones

Gnarlyscoots:
I remember these Steve  :daumenhoch:

I had to have them fitted to both my white Tuff's as the hubs collapsed, crushed in. They were £10 fitted each I think in the Raleigh shop in Bognor Regis.

I never had an issue with them again after that and went on to trade them for a set of Blue speedlines at Shoreham-by-sea track  :coolsmiley:

Taipan:
The Machined hubs with sealed bearings from acorn freestyle mags are also a direct replacement for Skyways if you didn't know  :daumenhoch:

MartyC:
Nice, I had a set of those or similar bitd on a set of blue Tuff's which where then replaced by a white set with og hubs!
