Embossed Dia Compe MX1000 (1983)

Gents,

I have just removed the decal on a 1983 MX1000 and found Dia Compe embossed. I own a few pairs of these callipers but not done that before!

Are they all embossed under the little red stickers??

I think it was the early ones that were all stamped under the decal.  :-\

What year is yours?

I'm sure someone else will clarify.

I dont want to remove the decals off my sets to check.  :-\ But they do look nice without if stamped. :daumenhoch:

This was an 83. Mint but faded calliper! Was a real bonus! I fancy leaving the decals off it!! :)

I think your right does look good with no decal.  :)

So if MX1000 came out in 79 and finished in 85 this is quite late in the run. Would be nice to clarify.  :-\
