Not cricket but thats how it is ::) saves the fees and ebay haven't worked out how to stop it.

Totally agree :daumenhoch:
Gotta get your bids or offers in early dudes or expect the item to go nowadays.
Too many people watching stuff and doing nothing. Wanting to play the waiting game and trying to grab a bargin but then are suprised when the item ends early because the seller's trying to avoid the crap ebay fees.
I used to get mad about this also but I dont blame the sellers anymore since ebay fee's have gone through the roof.
:)

Too true, I'm not pee'd with any seller that does it, anything to stop thieving ebay grabbing their 20%. Just nice to monitor and see if you might net a good deal at the end of a poorly listed item listing sometimes. Mind you I usually find I'm buying items I never even went looking for when those ones do crop up these days, and they're very few and far between nowadays.
Oh the good ol days. When 85 masters were nos at 135, raw streetbeats at 70, and aero reflex's all over the place for 35. :2funny:

Yep, annoying but just the way it is these days. If you really want the item, you'll hit em with a good offer quickly I guess.
See quite a lot of "Item is listed elsewhere, so I reserve the right to end the auction early" too. As far as I'm aware, just because you write this in the ad doesn't make it override eBay rules? Maybe I'm wrong, can't be ar5ed looking through the rules...

i agree that ebay fees are high, but what we forget is that ebay provides a market that you would never reach in your wildest dreams, if you were to advertise on gumtree etc. imo thats worth paying for. its like arguing about buying aticket to the moon, if you cant get that item anywhere else, the price is the price, due to a unique service that ebay has the monopoly on to provide, through being an effective site.
ive made offers in the past, but ive had five items dissapear from my watchlist this week alone....white haro tyres, a 91 master, genuine cw bars its getting like theres no point bidding on these items.
