A spot of fettling for Chubby
oldschoolace:
My Cornish badger Richard has been after a double rotor hanger for some time now and i couldn't see him finding one in the near future so decided to have a crack at one for him :)
The original Lee chi ones are not much to look at
And as it was to run through a Peregrine rotor, it made sense to try and go with a similar theme.
I started with the logo
Then mirrored it and placed the likely position of the brakes adjuster holes and stem bolt hole
Got a small bit of 3mm ali off the bay and made a little mdf carriage just wide enough for it to sit in. Once the carriage was bolted to the pillar drill base plate i used a small V router bit to "mill" the necessary slots, then cut it out on the band saw.
An hour or so with some wet or dry and this was the result.
Quite please with how it came out :)
