Aggressive? Do me a favour. If you can't read plain, simple English for how it is written, you should go back to English class. Since when does PLEASE become aggressive??

Once again Rob, you fail to see the importance of something you feel is trivial.

It is unprofessional to remove a thread, whether you feel it has expired or not. I posted it, it's down to me to remove. My for sale posts stay until I have decided that the buyer is happy with the item when I have received a PM confirming it, then I remove it. That is, or should be, standard practice.

Once again?  please enlighten me with all the other times  ???  we're talking about one thread in the forsale section for a poxy brake caliper here aren't we?

Unprofessional?  this is a bike forum which is setup by and manned by a group of middle ages saddo's who have alot of more important things in their lives as well as this place.  There is nothing professional about it any of it.

This is your original post....

I put up for sale an Odyssey Evo II and, yes, it sold but, the thread has disappeared. Can I ask who deleted it and why please

The please is at the end of the sentance and the way in which it was written is very passive aggressive.  you are pretty much demanding who the hell removed it and why?

i have no idea who deleted it and frankly i don't care  :daumenhoch:

Wasn't me either, but Terry as a site adminstrator if I deem a post eligible to be removed then that is all I need to remove it.  It is not down to you to do, you can if you wish, but the RADmin team have the overall say.

I could find out who did the deletion, but to be honest it really isn't worth it, the item has sold so what is the problem?

I did it..... The spiders made me :pilky:

Bob_Acid:
Any done deal Will be removed as soon as possible

says that in the guide at the top of the for sale section.

Not that many of us bother to delete for sale threads but my guess would be one of the team has been relieving a bit of boredom.
