Performer thoughts !

Gashead:
Now I had a chance of a chrome pre stamp, and thought I would go down the route of gold parts........


However some of the golds simply don't match.........


As for laid back seat posts I simply hate them.......


Stick with it, or go black parts ?

In the 1st pic the Suntour looks like the odd one out, The others dont look too far apart.

If mine, I would use the chrome Sugino spider, and use a Sugino chainring with machined teeth, it will keep the amount of good down, and give a nice balance.

The power disc would be too much IMO.

Gashead:
In the light the stem matches the rest, it's the brakes that are completely wrong!


I do agree with the power disc - just waiting to try a chrome power disc with a gold PPP / tuf neck chain ring !

That could work nicely.

I'm not sure about a straight seat post though Nick, I'm not sure it will suit a Performer.
