Spring Ride
« on: March 31, 2014, 02:56 PM »
For the last 6 weeks or so I’ve been concentrating on my other hobby (snowboarding) and gathering parts for my Laserlite build [ http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,170336.0.html ] but with Spring in the air, and a free couple of hours on my hands this afternoon, it was time to dust down the Haro for the first time this year. Nothing gnarly, just a cruise around my local neighbourhood roads but it was so good to be back in the saddle. I guess many of us on here have been riding for 30+ years and I don’t know about you, but riding a bmx still feels so natural, and so much fun, feelings that sometimes get lost in the grind of daily life. I must get out and ride more often, and hopefully on my Kuwi!!  :)

I did the same yesterday. The sun was out, took the Floval for a cruise through the park then into town and then stopped by the skatepark for a chat and a quick blast on the ramps. When your bike handles so well,it's just a pleasure to ride. Bmx eh? It never leaves ya!
