I have a flip flop Suzue hub on the rear of my supergoose, I thought you flip the wheel around so you can make it a fixie.

To my understanding you had the flip flop hub so you could change the gearing instantly just by flipping the wheel so you might have a 14 tooth on one side and la 16 tooth on the other so if you wanted a lower gear at a certain track etc it was. a 1 min job to change the gearing

Ah ok cool so that makes sense , anyone know when they came in to being ?

apparently titron/hutch flip flops came out in 79... thats all i know

Ah cool, so one wont look out of place on an old school race bike ! I didm want to purchase if it was something thats not going to look correct on my build.
