I have a DC MX900 dated 11-80 is this rare ?

Pretty sure I have a 79, I know I have MX1000's dated 79, need to check the 900's

I'm no expert but I am pretty certain that if it is stamped it is og, don't forget that would be a manufacturing/production date they may not have gone on sale until '81.  MX1000's were around in 78/79 and am pretty sure MX900's were about shortly after.
