As the others have said, they are quite different but I'm also not that surprised that the BB is in a very similar place for both. Didn't JJ (BaldBMXer) used to race a Hutch cruiser  ???

I think he did mate.
I know he has a very tasty example tucked away too, not sure if it's his from bitd.

A beautiful pair, for me the ideal frame set would be an amalgamation of the two using the Hutch forks and rear triangle...

Looking at them I don't think they would have got away with the holes been the size they are if the drops had been any thinner.
You can see pro & cons for both & what they might have been thinking. An amalgamation would be good of the plus points.

Very informative Glynn and also very surprising there's that much difference  :coolsmiley:

Eitherway they are both cool framesets , thanks for sharing Glynn . Looking forward to seeing you work your magic on the Hutch and likewise Steve on the Profile  8)

I'm gonna need more than "magic" on this one Joff.
i'm only buying in one thing for this build and that's a DK invert stem (so i can utilize a set of bars that's in stock). The rest is any ol' shite i've got knocking about in the  spares box
