Great thread ... Post your stories ..  :daumenhoch:

Crazy as fook Craig pointed me towards  :radbmxsmilie: after buying some Robinson decals off me

It's all his fault really ..  :bellend:

for me it was a culmination of things that happened in about a 2 weeks,  it was 2005 and a saw about 30mins of the film 'bmx bandits' and thought the bmx's look kinda cool, then my mate showing me his redline mx11 which was my actual bike in 1980 (he still has it) but wouldn't let me have it,  so went on ebay and bought a white pk ripper complete for £850 which I thought was a ridiculous amount for an old (but mint) bike,  3 years later and I had 21 complete bikes.  :uglystupid2:    since then I took a reality check,  sold the lot  but bought a few back of really nice ones that mean a lot to me....

I was trawling through eBay about 4 years ago and accidentally a BMX popped up which caught my eye, so I did another search for skyway Streetbeat and up popped a complete in manchester. I bidded on it and ended up winning it for about £250. It was collection only so when I asked where he lived in manchester I couldn't believe he actually lived on me mams street!!

When I picked it up he also had two nos frames in the boxes......how I wish I'd bought those too.  :-\

Anyway here we are 4 years later, still love it and still love the Streetbeats.

Met some great people too.  ;)

Steve.
