When do you need it for Source are stating an expected release date of 20th June  :-\

United are bringing some balance bikes out this year, but I would get a 16" bmx and just take the pedals off, but get most importantly get a decent helmet

The isla rothan is fantastic! Get one. Show your other half the resale prices on eBay, you can't go wrong.
I honestly wouldn't bother with a BMX for a bit, too long/heavy and poor value, unusable brakes. My daughter had a second hand isla cnoc14 at 3yo, straight from a rothan, rode it first go, now has early rider belter, she is 4 and a bit now. It looks BMX like but way lighter, has brakes she can use and is fast as hell. Save the 16 inch BMX bikes til he is older..

I had dialled the number in the link and the young man stated that it would be around late July/early August. I would want this for the 23th of this month.

Balance bike then specialiat lightweight kids bike and then a bmx will teach them the fastest and safest.

Oh and a helmet first.....
