80s gt pro performer

Hi
Just thought you might like to see and old picture of mine of my gt pro performer. The pic was taken just after I had built it up on xmas day 85. The frame and forks were a gift from my mum, the skyways from my dad. The rest of the bits I had saved up throughout the year.
The bike was ridden a lot, probs about 4 hours a day..My hardest trick was probably small ramp endo into rollback nose manul finish with back wheel 180. My last trick that I never quite learnt b4 giving up, was a cherry picker.
I remember the laid back post, and pedals from my supper goose 3, did not stay on the bike very long.
Sorry I don't have a better picture....Hope you like :)

Looks pretty cool and typical of bikes we had back then.
We scoff at those braced laybacks now but we all had them!!

The post wasn't much good as it bent pretty quickly. It was a CW racing one with a black and chrome round sticker. Also I could not get my hand on the seat and the bar ends at the same time.
Hear it is with a straight post and me looking very young...top of the school steps. :)
Old school at school. :)
