Wheel building dilema

<< < (2/3) > >>

oldtired:
probably got one or two of the leading (first) spokes in the wrong hole/holes at the rim end, usually just one , this will twist the hub sideways when the trailing (second) spokes are put in but only when you get so far round ?

nitrohopper:
How do I identify the right first spoke hole on hub ??

That Swan Guy:
Copy an existing wheel. :daumenhoch:

NORTY40:
When i first started Lee i used this guide http://sheldonbrown.com/wheelbuild.html  or use Stidd's guide in the tech and resto section http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,1344.0.html :daumenhoch:

The good thing is you have the correct size spokes 184mm for a 3 cross lace on large flange hubs to Ukai speedlines . Follow the guide and it will work  ;)

CustardLips:
I've used Stidds guide every time. Can't go wrong.   :daumenhoch:
