Lester mags... top tips needed

Alreet lads, looking for suggestions to maintain the raw shiney side/high spots on a set of lesters if they are powder coated. What do we reckon, labourious masking before powder or labourious dremeling after?

I'd go with laborious masking  clint, dont want slipping dremal scratching the fresh powder  :chin:

What about the masking tape pulling off the powder as you remove it?  >:D
