You & BMX In 2004.

So with :radbmxsmilie: 10 years old this year, lets take a trip down memory lane to where you were, and how involved you were with BMX back then, when the biggest and best OSBMX forum was born?
I'm ashamed to say that in 2004, I had absolutely nothing to do with BMX, all I had was memories from '83 - '87 :-[, but I think it would be cool to hear what you guys were doing BMXwise back then? ???

Like you Dan, I wasn't into it at all in 2004. I would have a look on ebay from time to time and search for 'Skyway bmx' or 'Falcon Pro', as that was the bike I always wanted, and the bike that I used to own respectively. I remember an early low serial number (maybe 10 - 20?) 1983 T/A selling for £350 ish, and thought that was a crazy amount of money for an old frame & forks. Fast forward 10 years, and I now think nothing of having to shell out £160+ on a set of grips that can be ruined by one drop of a bike "nono"
I wouldn't change anything though. Getting back into BMX has been one of the most enjoyable things in my life. Being part of a fantastic community like RAD, and the old school scene in general has given me so much enjoyment. Meeting some great people, going on the rides, building your dream bike, MK, etc etc. I love it all. Keep it real. Keep it :radbmxsmilie:
