Broken left kneecap, all four fingers across my left palm and 3 stitches to my forehead following a BMX head-on at a place called Linley Woods in the Midlands in '85 (closest thing to a natural half-pipe I've seen). I was lucky - the other guy ended up with a fractured skull  :-\

Ahh Linley woods that's just round the corner from my parents' old house
Not sure about the 'natural' bit though I think it was an old limestone quarry, but I know the bit you're on about - almost vertical drop down and then shoot up (watch out for the tree root halfway lol)

Yup, they're actually Bell Pits for limestone extraction, plus there's a massive limestone mine (now flooded) under the surrounding area. Awesome place, and a BMX paradise BITD.

BITD I popped my thumb out jumping the coffin at ROM in Essex. Thought nuffing of popping it right back in and carrying on after a rest! Ahh the springy joints of youth!
