--- Quote from: benno on August 19, 2014, 07:10 PM ---yeah like Jaymz , we brought 2 non sst's with us , my brother marcus who's not on the forum and Raefe who is on but doesn't post as he's a thick cnut and don't know how too ,
However they both brought plenty of raffle tickets and i'm sure they shoved a few bob in the jar ,
they really appreciated it was a free event and were happy to support it :daumenhoch:

Yep , I can vouch for that as i was fed up of writing Raefe's name on every ticket and spelling it differently each time :D Two good lads them Mike :daumenhoch:

My thoughts are this.... We are more than happy for non SST's to enjoy the full weekend as SST's. We are not elitist in any way (although you will hear banned members try to make out we are), I like the thought of guests of radbmx (non members) to come along to the weekend, end up having a great time and getting drunk and full of food on us and then thinking that this is the kind of forum they want to be part of.
This is the best way of people joining radbmx®, word of mouth and enjoying what we do.
You will see so many FB groups that say they are bigger than us, but it costs nothing to run a FB group. Think about how much work it is to run a very successful website, FB group, member rideouts and then run the biggest free OS weekend in the world with free food, drink and entertainment.
The only thing we ask is that people buy a £10 SST each year to help us out in providing all this for our members, their families and guests.
