i would try put up more pics of everything you have including crank markings etc

surely something must fit if its not stripped

Get pics up like has been said, but i would agree with Jaan and Antique, thats the non drive side nut.

can you tell us whats stamped on the arms?

if its not got X24 then most likely 28TPI cranks in which case you have tried two 24TPI BB on it
