frame id.

Bought a bike at weekend,didn't pay big money for it,but unsure what the frame is.After removing what I can only describe as nail varnish from some of the frame there is 2 numbers. One begins with HBOW,the other is JM.There is also a shield like emblem with two crossed hammers on the underside of the  droptube near the headset.

Any help greatly appreciated
