The best thing to help grips on with.........

Isopropanol alcohol, I 'borrow' it from work, slides on then evaporates.

I've always used hairspray. On inside of grip and round bar ends. Important to let it go tacky first, then quickly twist the grips on and even them up. Overnight it dries fast, no slip. As it's mostly water soluble it should come off squirting hot water up ya grips....ooooh. Sounds rude!

I tried the cable ties and got in a mess. I'm dubious spraying lubricant is a good idea, worst thing ever yanking ya bars to find you have grips in your hands but ya bikes wayyyy over there?!?!

IPA I would think could potentially harm the rubber making it brittle? Dunno. Just way my brains wired.

I used to use hair lacquer too but raced in the rain a couple of year back & the grip started to loosen when they got wet through.
Same thing happened to my daughter when she was out on her Cali in the rain but the grip came off in her hand.
Since then I use car lacquer. It works pretty much the same but is water proof.

Getting them off is just a screw driver down to crack the seal.

WD40.... wax on wax off.  :slayer:
