Bolt size help

Please can anyone help, I've just received some 1/2 spindles for my hutch bear traps, I've gone to switch them over from the 9/16 but the end bolts holding the bodies are a different size 😩

Can anyone offer any advice how I can find out what Allen key domed bolts I need?

Frustrated isn't the word 😢
