Repairing tyres

Whats the best way to repair a tyre rip?

I've just stuck some thick tape behind the tear at the mo but it shows white through.

Is a puncture repair patch something people have tried before?

Don't think you will be able to repair that Ed .

Looks like a new tyre in order

I was thinking a flat patch for car tyres or if ur local garage only ha mushroom patches then cut the stalk off they'd be a lot stronger than bike patches also use their glue

They are old and rare as fook and won't be ridden in anger  :)

just trying to make the best of whats there and hide the tear  :daumenhoch:
