BARN FINDS?? WTF??
deeman:
I have noticed an increase on ebay of sellers including the words 'barn find' in listings, usually of old p.o.s BMX's. Is this a crossover from the classic car world? does it somehow increase the value of the p.o.s BMX? How many people actually find BMX's in barns?? Have the sellers been watching too many U.S car resto shows?? someone enlighten me! ::)

Some of them need putting back in the barn, locking up and the key throwing away too!
Jaan:
Theres a member on here that keeps his bikes in a barn, but he knows that they're there :LolLolLolLol:

Think it's just a phrase that's found it's way into common use Damo. Agreed that an involuntary shudder slips down your spine when it's in a listing title but if it encourages people to dig about & fish their old poop out then that's great. For every 100 pos there's usually a gem or 2
