UNI Hammerhead seatpost change

first question is why would you want to ?

I have a nice seat with a ropey looking seat post, but I also have a pair of NOS UNI seat posts, one of which is the graphite version in black and the other is a red Uni-glass version. Just considering changing out the seat posts really and wondering if it is possible.
