Cleanin up flite pads

OK life was less complicated when I was a kid, you cleaned yer bike n stuff n when your pads got too dirty you got new un's.  Given the scarcity of GT padsets and the cost of NOS set when you do find (managed too make two sets of yellow buyin orphans here and there still cost me about £40 per set and a lot of time n snipe biddin on t bay ;D ) does anyone have any good tips for cleanin them up?  Just won a gt which came with blue padset bit dusty but no nicks/stains so should come up good was just worried about lifting the printin/transfers?

I would go cleanin round the decals with a tooth brush and hot soapy water and a bigger brush for the plain bits :daumenhoch:

Maybe stick em in some Oxy whatsit washing powdery stuff they advertise on the telly.

I had a reat treat cleaning a skyway cal lite bar pad

I used washing powder and a toothbrush, I found a quick soak in the water got dust off , for stains i had to brush , put yes the ink does come off if agitated so carefull is the way to go
