I got a set of Pro Class hoops off here for £30, hubs for £30 and I was kindly donated all the spokes needed. My cost shot up though when I got my local bike shop to build them (£36). The only other cost is rim tape (leccy tape).
Obviously, the cost will rise if you use a higher spec hub, sealed Suntour for example, I've used LF/LB Suzue's.

£30's not bad at all for Pro Class rims Dan. :coolsmiley:
Should have a go at building em yourself then just get trued at your lbs... save yourself a few bob. :daumenhoch:

My temperament won't deal with that Nick. "help"

It's quite therapeutic actually... with a sense of achievement once complete. :daumenhoch:
Should be a doddle for a man of your calibre. ;)

I agree with Nick, building is a doddle really. just copy a wheel you have and make sure you follow the direction of the holes in the rim.
Once you 'get it' it's dead relaxing :LolLolLolLol:
