Clear sticky pads are your best bet if you want to actually stop :daumenhoch:

Available even from Halfrauds I am told, but your lbs will have some - they even come with a coloured insert if you are fussy to match your build :coolsmiley:

However, if you don't set them up to toe in correctly they will squeal like a pig and are annoying :2funny:

You will come to a stop remarkably quicker than you did in 1984 though, despite no doubt being 5st heavier so learn to love the squeal, it probably saved your life :LolLolLolLol:

Oh, x2 on the Odyssey Slick cables, my weapon of choice on anything I actually ride in any type of anger :daumenhoch:

Odyssey Slick cables, sticky pads, oldschool brackets and a personal modification to make sure the bike stops dead even with oldschool caliper brakes as the levers at the other end have the adjustment so no need for it at the caliper :coolsmiley:
