knock a couple of these up with different amounts of thread sticking out , thread it into the nip and then thread the nip onto the spoke, the nip will stop when the two threads meet , then unscrew the tool , this will get all the spokes to the same tension , and should almost eliminate the the up and down wobble , and center the rim over the hub , if the spokes are the same size both sides, rear hubs with different size flanges take a little bit more tweaking to get the rim central, always built my own wheels G, drop me a pm if you get stuck :daumenhoch:

I do the same kind of thing but with an old flat head screwdriver that I have filed down to make a nipple driver. This way I screw the nipples down the same everytime.

i have one of them too, i put a couple of 90 degree bends in it and sealed bearings so i could count the rotations easier.

also its a small thing but get a decent quality correctly sized spoke key , park tools ones are good , well worth the extra few quid :daumenhoch:
