"help"
hey chaps
i'm looking for the best way to strip the paint work from a frame so i can polish it up as a raw finish its a '07 redline that i'm led to believe once belonged to shanaze reade or if its worth taking it to a specialist frame finishers as if thats the case i'll get the to paint it green and paint on the decals before putting on a coat of laquer
cheers

Starchen Synstrip is the way to go, I have just stripped a mountain bike frame and polished it up. Best way to do it is paint the synstrip on liberally and then wrap it in clingfilm and leave for 12 hours. The paint will simply peel off.
If you don't wrap it in clingfilm it dries out and doesn't work as well, the clingfilm keeps the chemicals active and working all the time.

I stripped the paint from my DOGSBOLX Back in 2009 so as not to ruin what was underneath. Worked and absolute treat with domestic paint stripper. :LolLolLolLol:
