Here's the BMX page out of the 1985 catalog, although it's in Japanese if you maximise the image you can make out 10 x 1 mm in the description for the BH 1000 & BH 1100 hubs.

Just had a look at that link , and the sealed bearing hubs do have 10 x 1 amongst the chinese writing .

Next to them in the pics though are the unsealed bearing hubs , which have look to have 3/8 x 26tpi axles ??

From what I can gather , a 10mm x 1mm nut will go on either axle , with a slightly 'loose' fit on the 3/8 x 26 tpi .

Whereas a 3/8 x 26tpi nut will only fit comfortably on a 3/8 axle and would need forcing onto a 10mm axle , probably damaging the thread .

Suntour sealed bearing hubs have m10 x 1 thread.

Nuts this size can be easily obtained, however they will be a 17mm spanner size.

I made some with 15mm spanner size and got them plated, they are an exact match for the OG nuts :daumenhoch:
