Spraying a chrome frame ?

Hey Snoopy how the hell did that happen? ive spayed stuff in the past and its all been ok and thats with ordinary primer,ive just done forks & bars there and there ok just need to tackle the frame now,but ive never had paint fall off with temp change

If you have painted over chrome it will be held on by luck only, I tried everything apart from sandblasting and ended up sent them for a polish and re chrome .

Of course you can paint or powder over chrome; ask SBD if you need any advice  :daumenhoch:

Scuffed the chrome with a green scotch pad, 3 layers of primer, then 24 hours later 3 layers of paint, followed by a week next to the radiator to cure.
