Kashi MX

I bought a black suede Kashi  few years ago.. Turned out to be a very nicely covered  Kashi mx..  My own fault as I should have read the description properly on eBay.. ::)
Well I was looking at this seat today and thought I'd just pulle the suede off.. Turns out it's not in the condition I thought it would be..
Got the usual scratches across the back & on the nose.. Well my question is, has anyone done any refurb work on these before..?
