Some progress today, cleaned the OG grips, they were really dirty, with vanish gold, one scoop in warm water and an electric tooth and they came up like new. :daumenhoch: Afterwards made sure to fit a new head to the missus's tooth brush :LolLolLolLol:
Fitted silver chain ring, MKS BM-1's, silver lever parts to match the original shimano lever, mongoose gold stem fitted, headset fitted, also seat post , clamp and 79 prism decals fitted.
Widened the bars from 23" to 26"
Just need to bleed the brake, fit shimano dura ace cable clamps and do a small adjustment to the rear wheel/chain alignment.

I was tempted to have the wheel rims anodised blue but that would mean stripping the wheels again, I may do this at a later date.
