Time to start the Marlboro woody build

Tell me about it. Todays efforts resulted in some intersting looking kindling  :LolLolLolLol:





I suspect a combination of a tight radius and the ash being kiln dried rather than green (undried) has stumped me today.
I have 2 dowels left and may soak them for a few days to see if it helps. I suspect it wont  >:(

Thinking cap need a dusting off, would really like timber bars if possible  :)

Looking like laminated thin strips is the way forward  :(

Maybe time for some 4 piece bars i.e. Vector styled ones where you can mitre the joints, just a thought...

I did think that and they would be easy enough to do but I'm going for an early look and 4 piece bars don't really convey that. Might make a set anyway  :daumenhoch:
