Don't think I'd get one in Dan... think the bends too close to the top. Might just fit it and see how it looks. If it's noticeable I'll probably go with the rubber mallet/sandbag approach. :-\

I would be surprised if you could get a plumbers spring up there , tried it with one of mine . Maybe try a sparks conduit spring or sand load it then give it the hammer treatment .
Failing that just buy a new one ya tight fooker :D
