how easy is it to replace the pins on DX pedals and what should i replace them with if it is possible ?

i have caps, its just the studs i need, will look into the welding rod :daumenhoch:

ok, one suggestion... i used to work for Stuart Turner pumps many years ago and have a fair knowledge of the stuff they did for their line of model steam engines. Long story short, Stuart Models, now in Bridport, do a range of stainless steel rod.. eg 3/32 , 1/8 and upwards . About £4.50 for a 12 inch rod. feel sure this may be preferable to welding rod ??
