Depends on what it is and how original you want to keep it. I kept my RSR as a survivor, new inner tubes, replaced the knackered rims, patched the holes in the tyres and put on a new brake cable, new grips to replace the completely knackered ones and a set of new frame pads. My Scorpion got the full restoration treatment as I wanted to build it like the one I had bitd.
I must admit the RSR gave me a lot of food for thought as I was very tempted to rechrome, and go the replace everything route but I think by keeping it as a survivor it's retaining its character and history and given how rare they are I think that's important.

Had a look on ebay last night and the amount of polished Tuf Neck stems etc is a fookin shame. If I was rich I'd by 'em all and get the machined finish back on 'em. :yahoo_silent:
