Cleaning Skyway Tuffs

Redtom:
What is the best stuff to clean Tuffs? My front wheel is really bad, WD 40 give it a shine but doesn't really remove the grime.
Is lightly sanding them the best option?  Cant find a thread on this sorry.

Hot soapy water and scrub with kitchen green

Bfellows:
Dishwasher - two tabs, or a finish dishwasher cleaning thing.....

I've had decent results, like pickle says, with the green washing scouring pads (scotch-brite) and cif cleaner, aka jif.

Be prepared for a lot of scrubbing though mate, and sore thumbs. But well worth it for the results. Blast them with loads of WD40 when you're finished to bring the colour back.
